I ordered this thinking it was a CD, it came with a wonderful book explaining in general excellent information on Mandalas, and all the different kinds and their uses. I am a life coach and this will give me the ability to create mandalas for my client for meditation, and also as vision boards for them. Very impressed, and a great deal for the cost. Very easy to use. Highly recommend this product.

Neat concept, clumsy execution

I was excited to get this book so I could have fun creating different mandalas. However, there are some issues that make the software somewhat frustrating to use. Inexplicably, rather than having thumbnail images of all of the possible inner, middle, and outer rings, you have to click through them all in sequence. It is obviously difficult to remember which ones you liked, and where they were in the order. And second, it is impossible to save mandalas once you have created them. I would like a way to save my favorites so I could go back to them again. Overall, while it is possible to make some neat mandalas, I was disappointed in the primitive functionality of the software.

Just What it Says

The book itself does not have that much content, but the included software is excellent. It's simple--you install it, and then select an inner, middle, and outer ring design. Then it gets printed and colored. I work with teenagers and they find it soothing and absorbing. I use it when students need a calming break or just time to center and focus. It also allows them to choose colors and designs that express how they are feeling about their lives in the moment.
